Research

Just "Who do You think You Are?" states a popular BBC program which now has come to American television waves. Let the evidence show you! We can research your family history through our many subscribed data bases. Did you know there is an amazingly wealth of information that can be pulled from something as simple as an old census? Most census years will provide you where the person(s) lived, worked, where his/her parents were born and more. Each will provide the age. Do know, though, that the enumerators were at the mercy of the person giving the information. For example, if your ancestor wasn't available when the census taker knocked at the home, a neighbor may have provided the information. Wrong spelling of last names, ages and so forth would thus be given. However, inmost cases, Memories Scribed can work through the documents to find those elements of truth. Afterward, Memories Scribed will provide you any available and found copies of census, immigration records, birth, death records, newspaper articles and more. Sometimes it will take a couple of hours of research before something of value is located. Research Fees: $35.00 per hour with a minimum of 3 hours plus an administrative fee (usually $10.00 to cover printing and mailing costs). Each additional hour afterward is $25.00. You can choose the amount of hours of research you'd like to start with and then review the information provided before requesting more research hours. The minimum is only once! Therefore, if you begin a project and 4 months later decide to add more research, you will not need to begin with the minimum.
